Florida Safe Boating
OPEN TO ADULTS AND YOUTH AT LEAST 11 YEAR OF AGE. This course is offered during the weeks below, and runs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-8 pm, and on Saturdays from 8 am to 12 pm. To complete your certification, you must attend all three sessions. The cost of the course is $40 per student. Boy Scouts wishing to complete their Motorboating Merit Badge can register for this course during weeks 2, 5 and 7.
MARCH
Class #1: 3/11&13 (6-8pm) & 3/15(8am-noon)
Class #2: 3/25 & 3/27 (6-8pm) & 3/30 (8am-noon)
APRIL
Class #3: 4/8 & 4/10 (6-8pm) & 4/12 (8am-noon)

CPR Certification
OPEN TO ADULTS AND YOUTH AT LEAST 11 YEARS OF AGE. The course is offered by a qualified American Red Cross CPR Instructor. The course is Adult CPR/First Aid and certification is good for one year. The cost of this course is $25.00. This one-evening course is on Thursday nights throughout the summer from 6 to 10 p.m. (see schedule below).
JUNE: 26th
JULY: 10th & 24th
AUGUST: 7th
BSA Lifeguard
OPEN TO ADULTS AND YOUTH AT LEAST 14 YEARS OF AGE. Campers can register for this course during their week(s) at Aquatics Camp, or campers and adults can sign-up to attend ONLY the BSA Lifeguard Course for a week for a cost of $75/student. The course will run from 2:40-4:40 pm daily. To complete the certification, you will need to attend one of the CPR courses offered on Thursday evenings throughout the summer. To register for a CPR course, send an email to meshaw@bsamail.org. You will not incur an additional charge for the CPR certification if you register and pay in full for the BSA Lifeguard Course.
